PROJECT BRIEF
Masianokeng is located on the outskirts of Maseru on the Main South Road on the way to Moshoeshoe l International Airport. The site is located on a foothill 50m from the intersection of Kofi Annan Road and Main South Road. Masianokeng Township Development Project is a new lower to middle income housing project. The houses will be sold as turn-key homes i.e. fully-fitted and with full services. We will provide different designs for the prospective buyers to choose from and a variety of finishes. The development incorporates recreational, basic and convenient amenities into the development to provide a proper housing development, a first for Lesotho. We envisage developing a sustainable housing solution which will create a specific lifestyle for families living in the community. The project will have full infrastructure services i.e. roads, water connections, drainage, sewage services, street lighting, etc.
The development will comprise a shopping centre that services the community and banking services from the major banks. A police station that administers community policing will be provided including a day-care centre for the community. A bus / taxi stop will be accommodated for transportation to and from Maseru CBD for the community. Post-development, Orange River Developments (ORD) will act as intermediaries for the Maseru City Council providing full municipal services for the community on behalf of the council. We believe this further illustrates our commitment to providing a good, solid and sustainable housing solution that provides much needed development in Lesotho.
